Horseshoe Lake (St. Lawrence County, New York)

Horseshoe Lake is a lake located in the Adirondack Park in St. Lawrence County, New York, United States. It is situated in the town of Piercefield, southwest of the hamlet of Childwold. The lake is roughly horseshoe-shaped, hence its name, and lies at an elevation of approximately 1,558 feet (475 meters).

The lake is a popular destination for outdoor recreation, including fishing, boating, and camping. The surrounding area is heavily forested and provides habitat for a variety of wildlife, including deer, bears, and various species of birds. The lake is accessible via roads and trails within the Adirondack Park.

Horseshoe Lake is part of the Oswegatchie River watershed. The Oswegatchie River flows out of the lake and eventually empties into the St. Lawrence River.
