Highway 4 (Iraq)

Highway 4 is a major divided highway in Iraq, running generally north-south through the country. It connects major cities and regions, playing a vital role in Iraq's transportation infrastructure and economy.

The highway begins near the border with Kuwait in the south, passing through or near Basra, Nasiriyah, and other important population centers in the southern governorates. It continues northwards, eventually reaching Baghdad. North of Baghdad, the highway continues towards Tikrit, and eventually reaches Mosul in northern Iraq.
