Rob Gray (basketball)
Rob Gray (born April 3, 1994) is an American professional basketball player. A guard, Gray is known for his scoring ability and clutch performances.
Gray played college basketball for the Howard College Hawks and the Houston Cougars. He began his collegiate career at Howard College, a junior college in Big Spring, Texas. Following two successful seasons there, he transferred to the University of Houston.
At Houston, Gray quickly became a key player for the Cougars. He led the team in scoring during his junior and senior years. As a senior in the 2017-18 season, Gray averaged 19.3 points per game and led the Cougars to the NCAA Tournament, where they advanced to the second round. He was named to the All-American Athletic Conference (AAC) First Team.
Following his college career, Gray entered the 2018 NBA draft but was not selected. He has since played professionally in various leagues, including the NBA G League, the Israeli Basketball Premier League, and other international leagues. He has also participated in NBA Summer League. His career has been marked by strong offensive performances and a reputation as a reliable scorer.
