Herreys

Herreys (often stylized as Herrey's) were a Swedish pop and schlager group consisting of the three brothers Per Herrey (born 9 August 1958), Richard Herrey (born 19 August 1964), and Louis Herrey (born 3 November 1966). They are best known for winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1984 with the song "Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley." This victory marked Sweden's second win in the contest, and the first since ABBA's "Waterloo" in 1974.

The group formed in 1984 specifically to compete in Melodifestivalen, the Swedish national selection for Eurovision. Their Eurovision performance featured the brothers wearing matching gold boots, which became a signature element of their act.

Following their Eurovision win, "Diggi-Loo Diggi-Ley" became a major hit across Europe, reaching the top of the charts in several countries. Herreys released several albums and singles in the years following their victory, although they never achieved the same level of international success as with their winning song. They remained popular in Sweden and continued to perform together for a period of time.

After the group disbanded, the brothers pursued individual careers. Richard Herrey has remained active in the entertainment industry, appearing in musicals and on television.
