Happily Married (TV series)

Happily Married (French: C'est comme ça que je t'aime, literally "That's How I Love You") is a Canadian dark comedy television series created by François Létourneau. The show premiered on Télé-Québec in January 2020.

The series is set in suburban Quebec in the 1970s and revolves around two couples, Huguette and Gaétan Delisle, and Micheline and Serge Paquette, who, after struggling with the monotony of their married lives and families, become involved in a criminal enterprise. Huguette and Micheline, the wives, orchestrate a series of bank robberies while their husbands, Gaétan and Serge, remain largely oblivious, initially believing their wives are engaged in an amateur theater production.

The show explores themes of suburban boredom, marital dissatisfaction, female empowerment, and the unexpected consequences of pursuing personal desires. It is characterized by its quirky humor, stylized visuals, and retro soundtrack.
