Greg Gary (basketball)
Greg Gary (born May 28, 1964) is an American college basketball coach. He is currently the head men's basketball coach at Mercer University, a position he has held since 2019.
Gary's coaching career began as an assistant coach at DePauw University in 1990. He subsequently served as an assistant at Centenary College of Louisiana, McNeese State University, and Miami University (Ohio). From 2006 to 2011, he was an assistant coach at Purdue University under head coach Matt Painter.
Gary's first head coaching role was at Southern New Hampshire University from 2011 to 2013. He then served as an assistant coach at Duquesne University for one season before becoming the head coach at Centenary College of Louisiana in 2014, where he remained until taking the Mercer job in 2019.
