George Patterson (footballer, born 1934)
George Patterson (born 1934) was a Scottish professional footballer who played as an inside forward.
Patterson began his career with Dundee United, making his debut in 1953. He established himself as a regular in the team and was known for his skillful play and goal-scoring ability. He helped Dundee United gain promotion to the Scottish First Division in 1960.
After a successful spell at Dundee United, Patterson moved to St Johnstone. He continued to play regularly and contribute to the team's success.
Following his time at St Johnstone, Patterson played for Brechin City. He finished his playing career at Montrose.
Patterson retired from professional football in the late 1960s.
