George Oakley (footballer)

George Oakley (born 23 October 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward.

Oakley began his career in the youth academy of AFC Wimbledon before joining the youth setup at Barnet. He made his professional debut for Barnet in 2012. After a spell at Hayes & Yeading United, he returned to Barnet in 2014.

Following further spells at various non-league clubs, including Leatherhead, Kingstonian, and Welling United, Oakley signed for Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Championship in 2019. He scored several goals for Inverness and became a popular figure with the fans.

In January 2020, Oakley moved to Hamilton Academical in the Scottish Premiership. He remained at Hamilton until 2021.

Since leaving Hamilton Academical, he has played for clubs including Bromley.
