George Brand (politician)

George Brand (born August 12, 1953) is an American politician who served as a Republican member of the Montana House of Representatives, representing District 65 from 2013 to 2021. District 65 encompassed a portion of Gallatin County, Montana.

Brand was born in Manhattan, Kansas. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Economics from Kansas State University. Prior to his political career, he worked in agricultural finance and insurance.

During his tenure in the Montana House of Representatives, Brand served on several committees, including the Agriculture Committee, the Business and Labor Committee, and the Appropriations Committee. He was known for his fiscally conservative views and support for agricultural issues.

Brand did not seek re-election in 2020.
