Gene Paul

Gene Paul (born Eugene Paul Lesinski, April 29, 1945) is an American audio engineer, record producer, and musician. He is best known for his work at Atlantic Recording Corporation, where he engineered and produced numerous albums for renowned artists across various genres, including jazz, blues, rock, and R&B.

Paul's career at Atlantic began in the 1960s, and he quickly rose through the ranks, learning from legendary engineers and producers like Tom Dowd. He played a significant role in shaping the sound of many iconic recordings.

Some of the notable artists Gene Paul has worked with include Aretha Franklin, B.B. King, Roberta Flack, Ray Charles, The Rolling Stones, and Led Zeppelin. He has received multiple Grammy Award nominations and wins for his contributions to the music industry.
