Gary Thompson (basketball player)

Gary Thompson is a former American professional basketball player. He played collegiately at Rider University. Thompson, a 6'2" guard, was selected by the Boston Celtics in the sixth round of the 1967 NBA draft but did not play in the NBA. He instead played professionally in the American Basketball Association (ABA) for the New Jersey Americans/New York Nets from 1967-1969.
