Fred Howard (Australian footballer)
Fred Howard (born 14 April 1898, died 28 May 1966) was an Australian rules footballer who played with St Kilda and Essendon in the Victorian Football League (VFL).
Howard, a rover, played 24 games for St Kilda between 1921 and 1923, kicking 9 goals. He then moved to Essendon in 1924, where he played 3 games. His career was ultimately limited by injuries. Outside of the VFL, he also played football for the St Kilda Juniors.
