FannyPack
A fanny pack (also known as a bum bag, belt bag, or moon bag) is a small fabric pouch that is worn around the waist or hips by use of a strap above the hips that secures with some sort of buckle. The straps often have slides to allow the wearer to adjust the length of the strap. The pouch itself typically features a zipper closure, though other closure methods like snaps or Velcro may be used.
Fanny packs are generally used to carry small personal items such as keys, wallets, phones, and small electronics. They are popular for activities where carrying a larger bag or backpack would be cumbersome or impractical, such as hiking, traveling, running errands, or attending concerts or sporting events.
Historically, fanny packs have gone through cycles of popularity and decline in fashion. They were particularly popular in the 1980s and 1990s, and have experienced a resurgence in recent years as both a practical accessory and a fashion statement. Modern fanny packs are available in a wide range of materials, colors, and styles, from utilitarian designs to high-fashion versions. While historically worn around the waist with the pouch facing forward, contemporary styles also see them worn slung across the chest or back, mimicking the style of a crossbody bag.
