Peechi Dam

Peechi Dam is a dam located in Thrissur district of Kerala, India, about 22 km from Thrissur town. Constructed across the Manali River, the dam primarily serves for irrigation purposes, providing water to the surrounding agricultural lands. It also contributes to drinking water supply and power generation.

The construction of the dam was completed in 1957. The reservoir created by the dam is a significant water body and serves as a habitat for various aquatic species. The command area of the irrigation project spans across several taluks in Thrissur district.
