Füruzan

Füruzan (born Füruzan Selçuk in Istanbul, 29 October 1932, died 11 February 2024) was a prominent Turkish writer known for her short stories and novels that often focused on themes of social inequality, poverty, and the lives of marginalized individuals, particularly women and children. She is considered a significant figure in modern Turkish literature, particularly for her contributions to the short story genre.
