Abasha (river)

The Abasha is a river in western Georgia. It is a right tributary of the Rioni River. The river's source is in the southern foothills of the Egrisi Range. The Abasha flows generally southwest through the Martvili Municipality, eventually joining the Rioni near the town of Nokalakevi. The river is known for its scenic beauty and its importance for local agriculture and water supply. It also holds some significance for historical landmarks located near its banks.
