Energy Commission (Ghana)

The Energy Commission (Ghana) is a statutory body established by the Parliament of Ghana under the Energy Commission Act, 1997 (Act 541). The Commission is responsible for the regulation, management, development, and utilization of energy resources in Ghana. Its overarching aim is to ensure the efficient, reliable, and sustainable supply of energy for all sectors of the Ghanaian economy.

Specifically, the Energy Commission's mandate includes:
