Edge of Night (film)

Edge of Night is a 1934 American pre-Code crime drama film directed by Robert Florey. The film stars William Gargan, Mae Clarke, and Jack La Rue. It is based on a story by Samuel G. Engel.

The film centers on a young woman, Margie Hines (Clarke), who becomes entangled with a gang of jewel thieves after her boyfriend, "Toledo" (La Rue), gets involved with them. Gargan plays Danny, a reporter who tries to help Margie escape the criminal underworld and bring the gang to justice.
