Dobrunje
Dobrunje is a district (Slovene: četrt) of the City Municipality of Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It is located in the northeastern part of the city, east of the Ljubljanica River.
History: The area has a rich history dating back to prehistoric times, with evidence of settlements from the Bronze Age and Roman periods. The name "Dobrunje" is believed to be derived from Slavic roots. Throughout the Middle Ages, Dobrunje was a largely agricultural area.
