Dick Flavin (poet)

Dick Flavin is an American poet, television and radio personality, and author, best known for his poems about baseball, particularly the Boston Red Sox. He served as the Fenway Park Poet Laureate from 2018 until his death in 2024.

Flavin's poems often blend humor, nostalgia, and a deep love of the game. He delivered his poems live at Fenway Park before Red Sox games, as well as on television and radio broadcasts. His work captures the essence of Red Sox history and the passionate fanbase that supports the team.
