Denys Rolle (died 1638)

Denys Rolle (died 1638) of Stevenstone in Devon was an English landowner and politician.

He was the son of John Rolle (died 1589) and Tamasin Ford, and a member of the prominent Rolle family of Devon. He inherited considerable estates upon the death of his father.

Rolle served as Sheriff of Devon in 1605. He was a Member of Parliament for Newport, Cornwall, in 1597, for Callington in 1601, and for Devon in 1624.

He married Anne Paulet, daughter of Sir Amias Paulet of Hinton St. George, Somerset. Their children included Henry Rolle (died 1647), who inherited Stevenstone; John Rolle of Marhayes; and several daughters. He was succeeded by his eldest son, Henry.
