Dennis Bailey (footballer, born 1935)

Dennis Bailey (born 20 July 1935) is an English former professional footballer. He primarily played as a left winger.

Bailey began his career at Tottenham Hotspur, signing as an amateur in 1951 and turning professional in 1953. He made his Football League debut in 1955. Unable to secure a regular first-team place at Tottenham, he moved to Watford in 1957.

At Watford, Bailey became a key player, featuring prominently in their forward line. He was known for his pace and dribbling skills. He made over 100 league appearances for Watford before joining Exeter City in 1961.

After a spell at Exeter, Bailey played for non-league clubs including Guildford City and Dartford, before retiring from football.
