David Russell (Gaelic footballer)

David Russell is an Irish Gaelic footballer who plays for the Éire Óg Inis CLG club and formerly for the Clare senior inter-county team. He typically plays as a midfielder.

Russell made his senior inter-county debut for Clare in the early 2000s and was a consistent member of the panel for over a decade. He was known for his work rate, tackling ability, and his ability to win possession in midfield. He was part of the Clare team that won the All-Ireland Intermediate Football Championship in 2009. Russell retired from inter-county football in the mid-2010s.
