Central District (Shahriar County)

The Central District of Shahriar County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان شهریار) is a district (bakhsh) in Shahriar County, Tehran Province, Iran. Its administrative center is the city of Shahriar. At the 2006 census, its population was 487,746, in 125,399 families. The Central District has two cities: Shahriar and Andisheh. It also contains the rural districts (dehestans) of:

• Baba Salman Rural District
• Ferdows Rural District
• Momenabad Rural District
