David Moss (ice hockey)

David Moss (born September 28, 1981) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He played primarily in the National Hockey League (NHL) and the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL).

Moss was drafted by the Calgary Flames in the seventh round, 220th overall, of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. He played college hockey for the University of Michigan Wolverines.

He began his professional career in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights, Calgary's affiliate. He made his NHL debut with the Flames during the 2006-07 season and became a regular member of the team, known for his strong defensive play and penalty killing abilities. He played primarily as a bottom-six forward.

After his time with the Flames, Moss signed with the Phoenix Coyotes (later Arizona Coyotes) in 2012.

In 2013, Moss moved to Europe, joining the EHC Red Bull Munich of the DEL. He played several seasons in Munich, winning multiple DEL championships. He was a key contributor to the team's success.

Throughout his career, Moss was recognized as a hard-working and reliable player.
