Chris Hunter (basketball)

Chris Hunter (born July 7, 1984) is an American former professional basketball player. He played primarily at the center position.

Hunter played college basketball for the University of Michigan Wolverines from 2002 to 2006. He was a key contributor on the team, known for his rebounding, shot-blocking, and interior defense. He was a consistent starter during his junior and senior seasons.

Following his college career, Hunter entered the 2006 NBA draft but was not selected. He began his professional career overseas, playing in various leagues in Europe, including France, Italy, and Spain.

Hunter eventually found his way to the NBA Development League (now the NBA G League). He played for several teams in the D-League, showcasing his skills and working towards an NBA opportunity.

In 2008, Hunter signed with the Golden State Warriors of the NBA. He played a limited role for the Warriors during the 2008-2009 season.

After his stint with the Warriors, Hunter returned to the NBA D-League and continued to play professionally overseas. His career demonstrated persistence and dedication to the sport of basketball.
