David Fay

David Fay is an American sports administrator and consultant, most notably known for his long tenure as the Executive Director of the United States Golf Association (USGA). He held this position from 1989 to 2010. During his time at the USGA, he oversaw significant changes in the game, including equipment regulations and course conditioning. He also played a key role in promoting the US Open and other USGA championships. Since leaving the USGA, Fay has worked as a consultant in the golf industry.
