Consuelo (TV series)

Consuelo is a Mexican historical drama television series produced by BTF Media for TelevisaUnivision. The series premiered on Vix on May 24, 2024.

The series tells the fictionalized story of Consuelo, a woman living in 1950s Mexico City. Following her husband's sudden death, Consuelo discovers he led a double life and left her with significant debts. To survive and protect her family, Consuelo embraces her husband's "art" - selling erotic paintings made by him - while navigating the social conventions and constraints of the era. The series explores themes of female empowerment, societal hypocrisy, and the burgeoning art scene of mid-century Mexico.
