Children of the Sea (manga)

Children of the Sea (Japanese: 海獣の子供, Hepburn: Kaijū no Kodomo) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Daisuke Igarashi. It was serialized in Shogakukan's Monthly Ikki magazine from January 2006 to December 2011, and collected into five tankōbon volumes. The story follows Ruka Azumi, a young girl drawn into a mysterious relationship with two boys raised in the ocean, Umi and Sora, and the strange events occurring in the sea.

The manga explores themes of nature, the interconnectedness of life, and the mysteries of the ocean. It is known for its intricate artwork and surreal, symbolic narrative.
