Chakram (2005 film)

Chakram is a 2005 Indian Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by Krishna Vamsi. The film stars Prabhas, Asin and Charmy Kaur in the lead roles.

The film revolves around Chakram (Prabhas), a doctor who returns to India after studying in the United States with the goal of establishing a free hospital. He encounters Lakshmi (Asin), a student activist, and Chandrika (Charmy Kaur), a terminally ill woman. The film explores themes of love, sacrifice, and social responsibility.

Upon release, Chakram received mixed reviews from critics and was a box office failure. However, over time it has gained a cult following, particularly for its philosophical themes and unconventional storytelling. The music, composed by Chakri, was also well-received.
