Cafetite

Cafetite (CaFe₂Ti₄O₁₂) is a rare titanium-rich oxide mineral. It is characterized by its composition, which includes calcium, iron, and titanium. Typically found in skarns, it forms as a product of contact metamorphism. Cafetite is generally opaque and can exhibit colors ranging from black to reddish-brown. It's a relatively uncommon mineral, and thus not widely used commercially. Further study is needed to fully understand its properties and occurrences.
