CHLC-FM primarily broadcasts a French-language adult contemporary format. Its branding is "Rouge FM 97,1." The station has been broadcasting since 1971, originally under the call sign CKBM-FM before changing to CHLC-FM. It is part of the Rouge FM network, a chain of radio stations owned and operated by Bell Media.
