Bryan Reynolds (baseball)
Bryan Reynolds (born January 27, 1995) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Pittsburgh Pirates of Major League Baseball (MLB).
Reynolds was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the second round of the 2016 Major League Baseball draft out of Vanderbilt University. He played in the Giants' minor league system until he was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates in 2018 along with Kyle Crick for Andrew McCutchen.
Reynolds made his MLB debut with the Pirates on April 20, 2019. He quickly established himself as a valuable player for the Pirates, demonstrating strong offensive skills and defensive versatility. In his rookie season, he hit .314 with 16 home runs and 64 RBIs. He was named to the 2021 National League All-Star team.
Known for his switch-hitting ability, Reynolds primarily plays center field but has also played corner outfield positions. He signed an eight-year contract extension with the Pirates in 2023.
