Brad Davis (Australian rules footballer)
Brad Davis (born 11 April 1981) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Brisbane Lions and North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
Career:
Davis was originally drafted by the Brisbane Lions with pick 15 in the 1999 AFL Draft. A midfielder known for his contested ball winning abilities and tackling, Davis debuted for the Lions in 2000 and played in the club's 2001, 2002, and 2003 premiership sides. He was a consistent performer for Brisbane, known for his hard work and dedication.
In 2005, Davis was traded to the North Melbourne Football Club in exchange for pick 25 in the AFL Draft. He continued to be a valuable player for North Melbourne, taking on a leadership role within the team. He played over 100 games for the Kangaroos and was recognised for his defensive pressure and willingness to put his body on the line.
Davis retired from AFL football at the end of the 2010 season.
