Boris Andreyev (shooter)
Boris Dmitrievich Andreyev (born October 9, 1940, in Moscow, USSR; died October 25, 2020) was a Soviet and Russian sports shooter who competed in the 25-meter rapid fire pistol event.
Andreyev represented the Soviet Union in four Olympic Games: 1964, 1968, 1972, and 1976. He won a silver medal at the 1964 Tokyo Olympics and a bronze medal at the 1972 Munich Olympics. He was also a multiple-time world champion and European champion in the same event.
Andreyev was known for his speed and accuracy in rapid fire pistol shooting. He was a member of the Dynamo Moscow sports club. After his competitive career, he worked as a shooting coach.
