Bonnie Pointer (1979 album)

Bonnie Pointer is the self-titled debut solo album by American singer Bonnie Pointer, released in 1979 on Motown Records. Best known as one of the founding members of the celebrated vocal group The Pointer Sisters, Bonnie Pointer left the group in 1977 to pursue a solo career.

The album is notable for featuring Pointer's hit disco single, "Heaven Must Have Sent You," which reached number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and number 1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart.
