Bobby Rowe (ice hockey)

Bobby Rowe (born September 9, 1962) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. A defenseman, Rowe played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Washington Capitals, Boston Bruins, and Detroit Red Wings.

Rowe was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the 1981 NHL Entry Draft, selected in the 6th round, 113th overall. He made his NHL debut with the Capitals during the 1983-84 season. Known for his physical play and defensive capabilities, Rowe spent the majority of his NHL career as a stay-at-home defenseman.

He was traded to the Boston Bruins in 1987 and later to the Detroit Red Wings in 1991. After his NHL career, Rowe played in the International Hockey League (IHL) before retiring from professional hockey.
