Bob Foster (American football, born 1941)

Robert "Bob" Foster (born September 27, 1941) is a former American football linebacker who played professionally in the National Football League (NFL) for the Chicago Bears.

Foster played college football at Colorado State University, where he was a standout linebacker. He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the fifth round of the 1963 NFL Draft.

He played for the Bears from 1963 to 1967. He was known for his hard-hitting style of play. While his career wasn't exceptionally long, he contributed to the Bears' defense during the mid-1960s. His professional career was curtailed by injuries.

Following his playing career, Foster pursued interests outside of football.
