Bob Enger

Bob Enger (born 1946) is an American editorial cartoonist. He is best known for his work at The Hartford Courant, a daily newspaper in Hartford, Connecticut, where he served as the editorial cartoonist from 1986 until his retirement in 2015.

Enger's cartoons often featured sharp wit and commentary on local, state, and national political issues. His style is characterized by bold lines, expressive caricatures, and a direct, often humorous, approach to complex topics.

Prior to joining The Hartford Courant, Enger worked for other newspapers, including the Waterbury Republican-American. He is a graduate of Syracuse University.

Enger's work has received several awards, including recognition from the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalists. He is considered a prominent figure in Connecticut journalism.
