Bill Crawford (gridiron football)

William "Bill" Crawford (born October 17, 1947) is a former American football offensive lineman who played in the National Football League (NFL) and the World Football League (WFL).

Crawford attended Bishop O'Connell High School in Arlington, Virginia, and played college football at Duke University. He was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fourth round of the 1969 NFL Draft.

He played for the Philadelphia Eagles from 1969 to 1971. In 1974, he joined the Washington Ambassadors of the World Football League. He then played for the Florida Blazers of the WFL in 1974. Following the demise of the WFL, he played one season with the Memphis Southmen of the newly formed North American Football League in 1975.

Crawford was known for his size and strength, and played primarily as a guard.
