Benning (Washington, D.C.)

Benning is a neighborhood located in Ward 7 of Washington, D.C., east of the Anacostia River. It is bounded by East Capitol Street to the north, Southern Avenue to the south (the border with Prince George's County, Maryland), Central Avenue to the east, and the Anacostia River to the west.
