Baling (federal constituency)

Baling is a federal constituency in Kedah, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Dewan Rakyat, the lower house of the Malaysian Parliament, since 1974.

The constituency was created in 1974 when the electoral map was redrawn. It is currently represented by Hassan Saad of the Perikatan Nasional (PN) coalition.

Baling encompasses the Baling district in Kedah. Neighbouring constituencies include Sik to the north, Gerik (Perak) to the south, and Padang Terap to the west. The constituency is largely rural, with a significant population involved in agriculture.
