BG Voz
BG Voz (Serbian Cyrillic: БГ Воз) is a commuter rail system serving the Belgrade metropolitan area in Serbia. It is operated by Serbian Railways (Železnice Srbije). The "BG" in the name stands for "Belgrade."
The BG Voz network is designed to provide a faster and more reliable alternative to surface transportation within Belgrade, connecting different parts of the city and its suburbs. It integrates with the city's public transport network, offering connections to buses, trams, and trolleybuses.
The system typically operates on a regular schedule, with trains running at frequent intervals throughout the day. Ticket prices are integrated with the Belgrade public transportation system, allowing passengers to use a variety of ticket types, including daily or monthly passes.
The development and expansion of the BG Voz system is an ongoing project, with plans to extend the network to reach more areas within the Belgrade metropolitan region. The goal is to improve connectivity and reduce traffic congestion within the city.
