Böhme (river)
The Böhme is a river in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is a left-bank tributary of the Aller and approximately 72 kilometers (45 miles) long.
The Böhme rises in the Lüneburg Heath, near Schneverdingen. From there, it flows in a generally southwesterly direction through Soltau and Bad Fallingbostel, before joining the Aller near Rethem (Aller).
The river's drainage basin covers an area of roughly 575 square kilometers (222 square miles). The Böhme is known for its scenic landscapes and supports a variety of flora and fauna. It is also popular for canoeing and kayaking. Several smaller tributaries feed into the Böhme along its course.
