Aung Thaw
Aung Thaw is a Burmese archaeologist and academic, best known for his work in the field of Southeast Asian archaeology, particularly concerning the ancient Pyu cities of Myanmar. His research has focused on the preservation, excavation, and analysis of archaeological sites, including the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Halin, Beikthano, and Sri Ksetra. He has been instrumental in understanding the history, culture, and urban development of these early Southeast Asian civilizations.
