Arne Glimcher

Arne Glimcher (born 1938) is an American art dealer, film producer, and gallerist. He is the founder of Pace Gallery, one of the world's leading contemporary art galleries.

Glimcher began his career in the art world in Boston in 1960, opening his first gallery under the name Pace Gallery. Over the decades, Pace has expanded to multiple locations globally, including New York, London, Hong Kong, Seoul, Geneva, and Palo Alto. The gallery represents a wide range of influential artists from the 20th and 21st centuries, including figures such as Alexander Calder, Chuck Close, David Hockney, Agnes Martin, and Jeff Koons.

Beyond his work in the art world, Glimcher has also been involved in film production. He has produced and directed several films, including "Mambo Kings" (1992), "Just Cause" (1995), and "The White River Kid" (1999).
