Anthony Wong (Hong Kong actor)
Anthony Wong Chau-sang (黃秋生; born Anthony Perry, 2 September 1961) is a Hong Kong actor. He is known for his versatility and willingness to take on diverse roles, ranging from dramatic to comedic, and from heroic to villainous.
Wong began his acting career in the early 1980s, initially focusing on television dramas. He gained prominence in the Hong Kong film industry in the 1990s, particularly for his roles in Category III films like The Untold Story (1993), for which he won the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actor.
He has received critical acclaim for his performances in various genres, including crime thrillers like Infernal Affairs (2002), comedies like Ebola Syndrome (1996), and historical dramas like Ip Man: The Final Fight (2013), in which he played Ip Man.
