Anthony Fell (politician)

Anthony Fell (born May 18, 1938) is a Canadian politician. He served as a Progressive Conservative Member of Parliament for the riding of Simcoe North from 1984 to 1993.

Fell was born in Toronto, Ontario. Prior to entering politics, he worked in the insurance industry. He was first elected to the House of Commons in the 1984 general election, defeating Liberal incumbent Bruce R. McCauley. He was re-elected in the 1988 general election.

During his time in Parliament, Fell served on various committees, including the Standing Committee on Finance, Trade and Economic Affairs. He was known for his fiscally conservative views and his advocacy for small businesses.

Fell was defeated in the 1993 general election by Liberal candidate Paul De Villers, as part of the nationwide collapse of the Progressive Conservative party. After leaving politics, he returned to the private sector.
