Angada

In Hindu mythology, Angada is a prominent Vanara (monkey-like humanoid) character in the epic Ramayana. He is the son of Vali, the deceased king of Kishkindha, and Tara, his Vanara queen.

Angada is depicted as a powerful and intelligent warrior, known for his loyalty to Rama and his pivotal role in the search for Sita, Rama's wife, who was abducted by Ravana, the demon king of Lanka. He serves as an important member of Rama's Vanara army, often acting as a messenger and negotiator.

A key episode featuring Angada involves his journey to Ravana's court as Rama's emissary. He boldly confronts Ravana, attempting to persuade him to return Sita and avoid war.
