Amana (plant)
Amana is a genus of bulbous flowering plants in the family Liliaceae, native to East Asia, specifically Japan, Korea and China. It is closely related to, and sometimes included within, the genus Tulipa. The species within Amana are characterized by their nodding, bell-shaped flowers, typically white or pale yellow, that bloom in the spring.
The name Amana is derived from the Japanese name for the plant.
